Your name on it.
Mine nowhere.
MoreU confidentiality is a set of written promises to every client: a confidentiality agreement before the first call, no client list or portfolio, full ownership of the words, and an agreed plan for your notes when you leave.

Will anyone find out I use a ghostwriter?
Not from me. I don't name clients and I don't show client work, on this site or anywhere else. Your newsletter goes out under your name from your own account, built from what you actually think. Whether you tell anyone you work with a writer is entirely up to you.
What I can promise is my own silence. What I can't promise is what a sharp-eyed reader might guess, so the real protection is that every issue is built from your thinking and sounds like you. This matters most if your name is the business and clients expect your judgement in what you send them. If you'd rather tell people you work with a writer, that's fine too.
What do you promise
every client?
Here's what every client gets.
- A confidentiality agreement on day one. Signed before you tell me anything.
- No portfolio. Your issues are never shown, quoted or used as an example, on this site or anywhere else.
- The words are yours. Once an issue is approved and paid for, you own it outright. Publish it, edit it, reuse it or turn it into a book.
- Your ideas stay yours. I never reuse one client's ideas for another.
- When you leave. We agree what happens to your notes and drafts.
- AI tools. Ask which tools see your material and I'll tell you.
- Free samples too. The writing you paste into the sample form, and the sample I write, are never shown to anyone else.
Why is there no portfolio
on this site?
Because the only way to have one would be to show somebody's work, and every client I write for is somebody. You won't find logos, a "clients include" list, testimonials or case studies here. When somebody asks me who I write for, I tell them I can't say. One day somebody will ask about you, and they'll get the same answer.
So instead I write you one free issue in your voice, on your own topic.
How does it work, from day one
to the day you leave?
Before we talk
You get the confidentiality agreement and sign it before the first call.
While we work
Names and details come out of field reports so nobody can be identified. Issues go out from your account.
Once it's paid
The issue is yours outright.
If you leave
Your notes and drafts are dealt with as agreed.
Questions about
discretion.
Can I see work you've done for others?
No. If I showed you someone else's newsletter, I'd be showing yours to the next person who asked. What you can see is a free article written for you, on your topic, before you pay anything, plus my own newsletter, where every issue goes out under my name.
Who owns the words?
You do, once an issue is approved and paid for. Publish it, edit it, turn it into a book. I don't keep it for a portfolio and I don't reuse your ideas for anyone else.
Do you ever mention clients in your own posts?
No. My own newsletter and posts are about my own work and methods, and I never draw stories from client material.
Do you sign an NDA?
Yes. A confidentiality agreement goes over on day one, and it's signed before you tell me anything.
Is it okay to use a ghostwriter for your newsletter?
Yes, if the thinking is yours. The opinions, stories and examples come from you, every fact is checked, and nothing goes out until you've approved it. Whether you tell anyone you've got help is your call.
Do ghostwriters get credit?
Not this one. Your name goes on it and mine goes nowhere. The people I write for get the credit, every time.
